The Ellipse Skin Rejuvenation treatment is a non invasive, Clinically Proven Safe and Effective treatment of Sun Damaged Skin which is used to erase skin damage without disruption of the skins surface. The treatment is ideal for clients who find they have skin discolouration, sun damage, age spots, mottled pigmentation, dull complexions, diffused redness (high colour) and symptoms of rosacea and large pores.
How does the treatment work?
A full consultation and Test Patch is performed prior to any treatment to establish eligibility of the client.
A Safe visible light is emitted from the Ellipse Flash Lamp and the Client will experience a warm sensation while the treatment is in progress, A mild erythema (redness) is normal immediately after treatment but subsides very quickly.
How long does is it take?
The treatment takes about 45 mins on the face and neck, 30 mins on the face and 15 mins on the hands. The results will show after one treatment however for optimum results a course of 6 treatments is recommended at intervals of 4-6 weeks.
You will notice that the skin looks smoother and younger, fine lines and wrinkles are reduced, make-up goes on more evenly and remarks from friends are very flattering! 1-2 annual maintenance treatments will keep you looking younger even longer!
Do I need to take precautions before and after treatment?
It is important to avoid tanning (sun solarium or self-tanning cream) before and during the treatment period. Generally no post-treatment care is necessary. But people with sensitive skin may benefit from applying an ice pack immediately after treatment or applying an ointment prescribed by the doctor. Furthermore, it is recommended to use a sunscreen (minimum SPF 60) for a few weeks following treatment.
